As an Aide on Confidence Building Measures, assigned to the Government of Moldova at EU High Level Advisers Mission, Cristina Turcu has more than ten years' of experience with not-for-profits, covering project coordination, administrative, financial, and procurement support. While in the U.S., Turcu worked with YWCA Greater Charleston in Charleston, where she implemented the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) enabling girls from Hispanic and African-American communities to develop communication and leadership skills through public speaking. Since her return to Moldova, Turcu has focused her efforts on supporting the Youth Resource Center in Balti with building capacities of their beneficiaries through diverse trainings and fundraising for their projects.
