As a program officer for Kesho Kenya Organization, Damaris has experience in grassroot community mobilization and has a passion for community development through integrity building. For her CSP practicum, Damaris collaborated with Chicago Votes in Chicago, Illinois where she supported Chicago Votes Reimaging Democracy and Policy Projects through assisting their leadership development fellowship, DemocracyCorps, as well as facilitated outreach for Chicago's general election. For her follow-on project in Kenya, Damaris plans to amplify youth voices and promote leadership development and empowerment by establishing integrity clubs in learning institutions.
