Phuc Dang has over 11 years of experience working with people with disabilities in the fields of inclusive education, research, and developing and applying assistive technology in education and employment for visually impaired people. His work includes promoting informational exchange and collaboration within the blind community, as well as finding solutions for blind students to overcome barriers in education. While in the U.S., Dang focused on tolerance and conflict resolution as a fellow at the National Industries for the Blind in Alexandria, Virginia. Now a Community Solutions Program alumnus, Dang is working on increasing the advocacy skills of the blind community so that it may stand up for its rights of equal access to inclusive education, employment, and public services.
