Daniel Abu
As the National Project Coordinator of Tropenbos International, Daniel Abu leads the implementation of an independent forest monitoring program anchored on advocacy, capacity building and monitoring and a team implementing a project related to forest restoration and wood energy. While in the U.S., Abu worked with Greening Youth Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia where he led the West Africa projects including public school garden projects in Liberia and fundraising and partner relations in implementing countries that included Ghana, Nigeria, and Liberia. Since his return to Ghana, Abu has focused his efforts on a 4.5 million GIZ funded project that targets forest restoration and woodlots for charcoal in ten communities in the transitional areas of Ghana.
