As a founder of the Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organization, Deodat Persaud has experience with elections and registration management, building better race relations, working with youth across Guyana, and counselling. For his CSP practicum, Deodat collaborated with the Georgia Center for Civic Engagement in Cartersville, Georgia where he assisted staff with planning and executing 12 youth civic engagement programs across the state of Georgia. For his follow-on project in Guyana, Deodat plans to empower youth through leadership development and youth-led civic engagement.
