Dung Tri Ngo
As the Director of the Consultative and Research Center on Natural Resources Management, Dung Tri Ngo takes care of management from human resource development to professional training for the staff while focusing on resource mobilization and community development. While in the U.S., Ngo worked with The Center for Integrated Natural Resources and Agriculture Management (CINRAM) - University of Minnesota in Minnesota, where he collaborated to develop ideas of community forest enterprises (CFE) and its operation in the context of Vietnam. Since his return to Vietnam, Ngo has focused his efforts on forest transition in Vietnam, a project aimed at exploring driving forces of 'forest transition' (from loss to gaining forest cover in Vietnam) and their attributes to understand how policy, socio-economic contexts, and human activities intervene in the process of forest transition in Vietnam and lessons learned to apply in other countries.
