As the Founder of Chiapas’ Meeting Point, Edrei González has experience in planning English Language Teaching programs, developing social and cultural activities, leading group work, and building community. During the fellowship, Edrei aims to learn about strategies for improving operations, marketing, sales, and finances. She also hopes to gain insight as to how to effectively develop an action plan. Upon returning Mexico, Edrei plans to bring entrepreneurial, leadership, and networking skills to extend the reach of the project to at least one new city in the next 6 months. Through expansion, she is confident that she can create a bigger social impact in the community.
