As the present Content and Innovation VP of Appleseeds Academy, Eran Raviv promotes the diminishing of digital poverty in Israel. During the past 12 years, Raviv has been leading joint national projects with private sector tech companies and government to increase digital literacy in underprivileged populations in Israel. During his fellowship in the U.S., Raviv hopes to learn new methodologies and best practices of creating social and economic impacts on communities, focusing on policy change of local and national public and private sector entities and ways to measure and evaluate impact and track its influence on policy.

Upon returning, Raviv plans to conduct a national awareness campaign on digital poverty in Israel that will increase awareness among stakeholders and decision makers in the field of ICT as well as people suffering from digital poverty.
