As a M&E specialist with over ten years of experience, Eric has worked in the education and water sectors with several international humanitarian organizations developing and managing their M&E systems and conducting M&E trainings for staff, implementing partners and community representatives. While in the U S, Eric hopes to learn about women and gender, women and girls’ education, and overall women's empowerment. Eric wishes to acquire technical skills in M&E tools design, modification, and application. He also hopes to improve his skills in data collection, analysis, and dissemination of evaluative outcomes. Upon his return from the fellowship, Eric hopes to contribute to women and girls’ education and increase knowledge of communities on the importance of girls’ education and overall women's empowerment. Through his current education project, Eric hopes to support volunteer activities by strengthening monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
