As a coordinator and English teacher for the Ixtatán Foundation, Erik Eduardo Galvez Cifuentes has experience coordinating assistants, teachers, and trainers to develop programs that create and foster knowledge and abilities. For his CSP practicum, Erik collaborated with Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County in Forth Worth, Texas where he assisted in implementing federal grants, updating guides, and the planning and evaluation of community engagement activities. For his follow-on project in Guatemala, Erik plans to launch a Boys and Girls Club project for teenage youth focused on collaboration, critical thinking, and gender awareness.
