Evarist Bainomugisha is the Manager of Finance and Administration at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. His role involves designing financial strategies, policies, and procedures and coordinating the preparation and consolidation of the University budget and monitoring its implementation. Evarist also develops, implements, and maintains internal controls and sound financial management systems. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting, and a B.A. in Communications from Makerere University. During his UASP fellowship, Evarist will be researching university financing as it relates to financial strategies, mobilization, and change processes.
