As a Founder for MPOWR and Stitching Passionistas (brand name Passionistas), Evita Sanches has experience in creating projects, organizing events, and forming partnerships that stimulate creative entrepreneurship. Through her work as a marketing consultant, she also has knowledge about and experience with the implementation of marketing strategies. During the fellowship, Evita aims to learn about management and marketing strategies to transform a social enterprise into a financially viable organization that can use its revenue to create community projects. By expanding her network with YLAI Fellows, she can learn from them how to overcome certain challenges. Upon returning to Curaçao, Evita plans to create more projects that will benefit at-risk groups in society. With the support of grants, other donations and strategic partners, Evita aims to offer low-budget courses to members of Passionistas within the next five years. These courses will teach these members knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship, marketing and sales.
