As a Project Coordinator at the Public Association El-Tirek in Kyrgyzstan, Farida Sulaimanova works to establish healthy government-civil society relationships and examines government accountability mechanisms, specifically in budget formation. During her CSP fellowship, Sulaimanova worked for the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz, California, making significant contributions to its five-year strategic planning process and conducting research on the NGO sector in the U.S. Upon returning to Kyrgyzstan, Sulaimanova designed and conducted a series of trainings on case study development with the goal of using these case studies to highlight development priorities in the country.
