As a Program Officer for Bean Voyage, Fernanda Carrillo Chacón has experience developing virtual training programs for smallholder women coffee producers and managing teams of volunteers. For her follow-on project in Costa Rica, Fernanda plans to develop an integrated program with women coffee producers to adapt to climate crisis via income and crop diversification.

Fernanda will be placed at Women’s Earth Alliance in Berkeley, CA to develop a plan of action with Mexican women to fight the climate crisis with accessible tools.
