As a Sub-Regional Project Officer for BirdLife International, Francois Phopho Kamano has experience in delivering environmental education programs, institutional capacitybuilding, and community development. Upon returning to Guinea, Francois plans to develop an interactive online platform to educate young people on environmental issues, and to increase the ability of young people to participate in community development and advocacy. Francois will be placed at IDEAS For US in Orlando, Florida working on The Hive, Solutions Fund, and Fleet Farming project, to learn how an NGO functions and how their aspirations of advancing sustainability can illuminate ways for their fellows to reach individual aspirations.
