As Program Coordinator for Transparency International – Bulgaria since 2011, Galab Baldzhiev is active in the implementation of civil anticorruption initiatives, coalition building, and election monitoring campaigns. By participating in the Community Solutions Program, Baldzhiev hopes to learn more about accountable governance, civil society controls, and corruption prevention methods in the United States.

Upon completion of the program, Baldzhiev plans to address persisting issues in his home country by setting up a web-based platform for corruption reporting, the main focus of which will be whistleblower protection.
