As chief executive officer of Sawaeed, Hazem Alhajii has experience in violence prevention, conflict resolution, and intercultural cooperation, as well as empowerment of young people through peacebuilding. For his CSP Practicum, Hazem was placed at Little Friends for Peace in Washington, D.C. where he was a peace coach and assisted in the classrooms for peace class and peace circles. For his follow-on project in Syria, Hazem plans to establish a wide network of skilled and professional peacemakers in each region to play an active role in peacemaking.
