Henry Nsubuga is the Manager of the Counseling and Guidance Center at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. His role involves directing and supervising the vision, planning, and management of counseling services; providing counseling and guidance service to students and staff; preparing annual budgets and reports; and researching areas related to counseling, guidance, or social issues or problems. He also supervises students on a field work practicum at the counseling center. Henry holds a M.Sc. in International Primary Health Care from University College London in the United Kingdom, a M.A. in Counseling, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Makerere University. During his UASP fellowship, Henry will be focusing on campus life/student services as it relates to management practices, information dissemination and awareness campaigns, and support for students.
