As the founder and executive director of Girls to Lead Africa, Honest Kansiime incubates, grooms, nurtures and mentors transformational and visionary female leaders who can rise to positions of leadership. During her fellowship in the United States, Kansiime hopes to learn how gender parity can be achieved and how women can champion innovation to tackle poverty and community challenges. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, she plans to increase innovation among young women through the implementation of the “Young and Innovative Project” as a tool for enhancing gender parity and addressing community challenges.
