As a Field Manager for World Peace and Reconciliation, Ishag Salih Ishag Ali has experience fostering innovation and creating a safe environment for discussing conflict resolution techniques through trainings for youth. Ishag is placed at Little Friends for Peace in Washington, DC, to assist with the development and facilitation of peacebuilding, personal wellness, and healthy interpersonal relationship workshops and programs, with a specific focus on the after-school and in-school programs. Upon returning to Sudan, Ishag plans to disseminate messages of peace through peace education, trainings, and creative capacity-building approaches to prevent social disputes between youth from different ethnic groups.
