As the director of the Dare and Inspire Foundation, Janeth Andrew Lugome has experience advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities and providing information about how disability inclusion could be achieved in different areas. For her CSP Practicum, Janeth was placed at Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center in Miami, Florida where she developed a DEI plan that includes accessibility for individuals with disabilities and develop a program to provide job-skills training and volunteer opportunities for individuals with special needs. For her follow-on project in Tanzania, Janeth plans to establish a mentorship program that will empower and motivate persons with disabilities to become changemakers.
