Joaquin works in the health sector as the COO and Founder of Buho. For patients between fourteen and eighty with chronic diseases, Buho is a pharmaceutical technology platform that provides efficient medicine price comparisons and delivers medication, allowing people with multiple prescription needs to obtain quotes from various pharmacies and consider price, stock, and convenience in their purchasing decisions. Joaquin’s short-term goal is to scale the company and achieve profitability. Their long-term vision is to make the company the primary pharmaceutical platform on which to purchase medicine in Chile. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Joaquin’s top business challenge is Scaling & Expansion. More specifically, they want to spread the word about the Buho brand and scale its operations. During the Fellowship Placement, Joaquin hopes to gain exposure and generate growth ideas while learning about strategic planning and startup scaling.
