As a human rights legal officer for Bufete Profesional Jiménez & Jiménez, Yonathan Josue Jimenez Ramirez has experience providing support throughout hearings to children and adolescents who are victims of abuses, violence, and family disintegration. For his CSP practicum, Yonathan collaborated with Mary Hoch Center for Reconciliation in Arlington, Virginia where he worked on researching and mapping involvement and needs of migrants and refugees with Latino background in truth and reconciliation processes in the United States. For his follow-on project in Guatemala, Yonathan plans to urgently launch a program for parents, youth, and family members to eradicate violence through peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
