As a Researcher for Parliamentary Opposition Chambers, Josaia Tokoni has experience in promoting genuine democracy and active citizenship. Josaia Tokoni is placed at Catalyst Miami in Miami, FL, where he will assist and support their leadership training program on climate resilience and their community informed policy campaign which addresses issues such as resilience, affordable housing, municipal budget, renewable energy, and disaster preparedness and response. Upon returning to Fiji, Josaia Tokoni plans to establish an initiative to advocate for improved development polices and a platform public reporting mechanism.
