As a front-line worker in times of disaster, Joseph Agyina works at the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) where he sensitizes community members in Ghana on the measures to follow in order to protect themselves from disasters relating to fire, flood, and more. While in the U.S., Agyina worked with Siegel Institute of Leadership Character and Ethics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he developed strategies for addressing gender inequality, contributed to the review of gender policies in the institution, and networked with professionals. Since his return to Ghana, Agyina has focused his efforts on the monitoring and sensitization of community members on COVID-19, periodic education on gender equality and its impact in the community, and training children on ICT.
