As the Founder and CEO of Red Diamond Compost, Joshua Forte has experience in innovative development of solutions for the bioremediation of soils: to improve soil fertility or limit the impact of persistent organic pollutants. During the fellowship, Joshua aims to learn about product validation and efficacy testing, the creation and implementation of successful marketing and public relations campaigns, and how to develop a sustainable long-term financing model. Upon returning to Barbados, Joshua plans to implement a financial plan that will allow him to hire new team members to fill key roles within the next 6 months. He also plans to implement a PR campaign to share the company’s story, highlighting the impact they are having on their local community and at the national level.
