As a Research and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Collaborative Centre for Gender and Development, Josiah Njau has experience in women's economic empowerment, child protection, and social justice policy advocacy. For his follow-on project in Kenya, Josiah plans to reduce the burden of unpaid care work for women through increasing access to quality and affordable childcare and improved incomes for women in Kenya.

Josiah will be placed at Project HOPE in Bethesda, MD to develop a gender strategy that will increase gender-responsive service delivery.
