Julija Visnevska is a program and monitoring & evaluation coordinator for the Media Literacy in the Baltics program. She supports program initiatives and participants, including engagement activities, outreach, monitoring, and mentoring. Her role also includes coordinating monitoring and evaluation implementation in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

Prior to joining IREX, Julija coordinated studies meant to improve the professional competence of employed persons. These aimed to prevent the mismatch of the labor force’s qualifications with the demand of the labor market, promote the competitiveness of employees, and increase work productivity. Her prior professional roles also included managing international affiliate programs for diverse products/services for markets in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

Julija graduated from the University of Latvia, Faculty of Modern Languages, and holds a BA in English philology. She speaks English, Latvian, and Russian and knows basic French and Spanish.
