Kamila works in the education sector as CreatorsAcademy Brasil's Executive Director for Strategy, Funding, and Team Management. For the people most affected by climate change in Latin America, CreatorsAcademy Brasil is a tourism and marketing agency that improves the quality of debate around climate change, promotes forest conservation, and helps develop tourism in the local economy. Kamila aims to promote awareness about climate change to 500 million people in the short term, and ultimately, they would like to develop a content creator global network with the ability to share stories about the people most affected by climate change. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Kamila’s top business challenge is Operations. More specifically, they would like to grow their operations to expand the company's network and reach. During the Fellowship Placement, Kamila hopes to gain knowledge as to how to achieve the company's short- and long-term goals.
