As a communication for development officer for the MAAN Development Center, Karam Al Zaanin has experience in the implementation of communication strategies through behavioral development and social mobilization of civil society organizations. For his CSP practicum, Karam collaborated with the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia where he developed ideas on how to implement new community initiatives, participated in lab activities, and designed and implemented communication strategies. For his follow-on project in Palestine, Karam plans to provide integrated psychosocial support and child protection services for the most affected boys and girls in the Gaza Strip.
