Katalin Schnierer has eight years of experience in the field of environmental education and community building. As the Executive Director of the Messzelátó Association, Schnierer focuses on building a strong, open-minded, creative, and active community that works together for a sustainable, healthy, and responsible world through community mobilization. As a fellow at the Victory Garden Initiative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Schnierer focused on learning how to build a strong volunteer community. Now that she is a Community Solutions alumna, Schnierer is working on the strengthening her organization's strategy and operative systems using her learnings at VGI to have a stronger effect in promoting sustainable urban lifestyle in Hungary.
