As the Executive Director of The Advocates for Human Rights and Democracy (TAHURID), Kenyi Yasin Abdallah Kenyi is the official representative of the organization and is tasked with supervising staff, interns, organizing capacity-building training for staff, and acting as one of the signatories to the bank account of the organization. While in the U.S., Kenyi worked with United States Human Rights Network in Atlanta, Georgia, where he coordinated with other partner organizations for the annual conference, took part in representing the organization in meetings, and designed training materials on human rights and conflict resolution. Since his return to South Sudan, Kenyi has focused his efforts on implementing projects on housing, land and property rights through conducting capacity-building training on collaborative dispute resolution, and dispute resolution on housing, land and property rights in IDP camps.
