Kevin Malone
Kevin Malone is a program associate for Fulbright Teacher Exchanges.
Kevin spent much of his young life living in Higashikurume, Japan, and is a proud third-culture individual. This has led intercultural interaction to be the cornerstone of his academic and professional career.
Prior to joining IREX, Kevin studied at the American University School of International Service, where he studied Intercultural Communications and Public Diplomacy. Focusing especially on Citizen and Exchange Diplomacy, his capstone project studied novel concepts of impact evaluation in the field. While studying he worked as a research assistant, where he assisted one of the leading members of American University’s Internet Governance Lab. He also held a short internship at the Springfield Sister Cities Association of Springfield, Missouri, where he cataloged historical records and designed the association’s archival system.
Kevin holds an MA in intercultural and international communication from the American University School of International Service and a BA in history from Baylor University.
