Konstantin Borisov previously worked as the General Director of PromTekhImport, LTD, before joining the Ministry of Economic Development as the Deputy Division Chief of the Department of Regional Economic Development Projects. Dr. Borisov holds a PhD from Vladivostok State University of Economics and Science, and is currently pursuing a degree in International Law at the Russian Foreign Trade Academy at the Ministry of Economic Development. While in the United States, he plans to develop a model of how governmental and foreign agencies can collaborate, in order to improve Russia’s foreign investment strategy and overall economic strategy with Dr. Timothy Frye, Director of the Harriman Institute at Columbia University and Padma Desai, Gladys and Roland Harriman Professor of Comparative Economic Systems and Director of the Center for Transition Economies at Columbia University.
