As the Founder and Development Strategist of Fibroid Awareness Trinidad and Tobago and The Development Lab, Korice Nancis leads communication and program design to ensure the mandate to impact women, girls and wider society through awareness and community engagement initiatives is achieved. While in the U.S., Nancis worked with CoreAlign in Oakland, where she designed the draft process map for CoreAligns signature Impact Consulting Service and reviewed the communications strategy. Since her return to Trinidad and Tobago, Nancis has focused her efforts on The Confidence Project, an initiative that focuses on educating and empowering girls and women to increase awareness on fibroids and provides psycho-social support.
