Kyle works in the food and beverage sector as the Owner and Founder of KJ Nutrition. For individuals who are gluten intolerant or gluten allergic, bakeries, health and wellness enthusiasts, and people with non-communicable diseases seeking a variety of products they can enjoy without compromising their health, KJ Nutrition is a pre-packaged food company that increases the shelf life of traditional fresh produce by turning them into flour, which provides more healthy food options and the opportunity for businesses to differentiate products. Kyle aims to increase production in the short term. Ultimately, their long-term vision is to impact people’s health and well-being. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Kyle’s top business challenge is Finance. More specifically, they need to secure financing to progress from a home operation to a facility specifically for production and purchase new equipment and technologies for production at scale to meet market demands. During the Fellowship Placement, Kyle hopes to gain knowledge on industry insights and best practices, leadership, conflict management, motivation, and overcoming challenges and establish a long-lasting partnership.
