Lashana Bayton is a program associate for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. In this role, she contributes to various aspects of the Operations Team, including administrative and logistical support, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.

Prior to IREX, Lashana worked as a life enrichment manager for a healthcare facility. She previously interned on the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan) team before joining the Mandela Washington Fellowship.

Lashana holds a B.S. in community health with a concentration in global health from George Mason University.
