Les Miles
Les Miles is the project director for the Community Engagement Exchange Program and the Community Solutions Program.
In this role, Les works closely with the U.S. Department of State to deliver a transformative leadership development experience for over 200 professional fellows annually.
Prior to joining IREX, Les served over 400 international students as a designated school official in the International Student Services office at Marymount University and consulted for Diversity Abroad and Robert Morris University’s Center for Global Education. He has five additional years of international development experience, including three years as a research, monitoring, and evaluation specialist for USAID-funded health and agriculture projects at Abt Associates Inc. and two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia.
Les holds an MA in international education management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA in political science and international relations from Carleton College. In addition to speaking Spanish at a professional level, Les is conversant in French and Khmer.
