As a Co-Founder and Administrative Director for Verde & Maní, Procesadora de Alimentos, Lilibeth Cedeño has experience in the creation, planning, and development of productive projects with sustainable objectives. During the fellowship, Lilibeth aims to learn about effective strategies to reach larger audiences, advanced approaches to partnerships and capital investment, and networking strategies oriented towards the development of sustainable products through communal projects. Upon returning to Ecuador, Lilibeth plans to launch a strategic initiative that will combine the agricultural development of rural areas with the creation of sustainable, organic products that will boost sales in the company and benefit the local farmers’ economy.
