As a capacity development adviser for Conectando Caminos por los Derechos–Pact Colombia, Lina Alexandra Guerrero Zarco has experience strengthening the capacities of more than 18 civil society organizations (CSOs) to promote social cohesion and prevent the violation of human rights. For her CSP Practicum, Lina was placed at Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia where she engaged in peacebuilding initiatives and research. For her follow-on project in Colombia, Lina plans to improve the CSO strengthening strategy and create a community of leaders who can replicate what I learned during the fellowship.
