As a Public Policy Expert and General Assembly Member for the Romanian Social and Economic Council, Loredana contributes to the legislative process of public policy review, evaluation, and approval. She works with unions, trade unions and NGOs to build a climate of active participation. Loredana is an expert in youth work and public policy with a focus on social policy, and has developed skills in advocacy, project management, and project writing. During her fellowship in the United States, Loredana hopes to learn about community-based service and public policy agenda-setting while also developing her skills in public consultation techniques, leadership, and sustainable partnership-building. Upon returning to Romania, Loredana plans to advocate for an improved system of social inclusion in Romania and to increase the active participation of young people in the community by designing and implementing a new program based on community service.
