As a founder and chief executive officer of the Coalition for Rural Women Empowerment, Madalene Mofu has experience in team building, economic development, community engagement, program management, strategic planning, and equality and human rights. For her CSP practicum, Madalene collaborated with the National Association of Women Business Owners in Corpus Christi, Texas where she researched and provided business related resources, organized guest speakers, and recruited new participants into programs. For her follow-on project in Zambia, Madalene plans to combat gender-based violence and economically empower local women through a storytelling campaign and by establishing a community entrepreneurship development center.
