Margaret Mutsamvi
As the Founding Director of Economic Justice for Women Project, Margaret Mutsamvi leads the implementation of organizational strategy and is responsible for the institutional vision and mission. While in the U.S., Mutsamvi worked with YWCA Alaska in Anchorage, where she worked on community outreach, attended networking platforms, and increased awareness on cancer. Since her return to Zimbabwe, Mutsamvi has focused her efforts on an economic literacy program, Building Women Peace Building Abilities and Young Women's Leadership School in displaced communities. All of these projects increase confidence in young women by goal-setting, teaching them about economic governance, and giving them agency and participation in their respective community.
