As the President and Founder for the Romanian Association for Community Support and Initiative, Maria is involved in various activities from crafting the organization’s strategic plan to developing trainings and materials promoting social inclusion and equal rights for women. Maria is an expert in community development and youth education and has developed skills in organizational development and management, as well as facilitating community trainings. During her fellowship in the United States, Maria hopes to learn about community development strategies and programs for empowering women and girls. She also wants to develop her skills in management and community outreach methods. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Maria plans to develop programs for disadvantaged communities focused on leadership, empowerment, and education for women and girls.
