As a Charity Chairperson for International Women’s Club-Sofia, Mariya provides development and direction of the organization involving a diverse and complex range of partners and stakeholders. Mariya is an expert in project management and communication and has developed skills in planning, implementation and execution of a wide variety of social projects. During her fellowship in the United States, Mariya hopes to learn about sustainable leadership in large and medium size organizations, effective fundraising strategies, and methods for building women’s skills, while also developing her skills in capacity development, innovation management, and digital communication. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Mariya plans to create a continuing education program for women focused on women’s empowerment by inviting them to participate in workshops and other professional initiatives.
