Marvin is a senior program officer II for the Information and Media Practice where he works on the Securing Access to Free Expression (SAFE) initiative.

Prior to becoming a program associate at IREX, Marvin worked as a program officer at the Brussels-based Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization. He also interned at Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung (FES) in Abuja, Nigeria.

Marvin graduated with a master’s in African politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a bachelor’s in African studies and geography from the University of Cologne in Germany.
