Mary Kate Wise is a Senior Development Officer in the New Business Development Unit at IREX.

Mary Kate manages all aspects of the proposal development process to secure funding from US and other government sources for IREX programs across all technical areas (Information & Media, Leadership, Education, Communities & Governance). She also helps with day-to-day management for the NBDU team. With over 8 years in business development, she brings experience with capture/assessment, program design, partnership engagement, budget development, key personnel recruitment, and proposal management.

Mary Kate has a background in global public health, including conducting ethnographic studies in Ghana and previously managed stakeholder engagement in the creation and maintenance of public private partnerships around topics of inclusive workforce development, wildlife trafficking, environmental conservation, and global health.

Mary Kate received a bachelor of science in neuroscience and math from the College of William and Mary, and a master of public health in global health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
