As a Programs and Students Coordinator for Acts 4 Rwanda, Maureen Nirere has experience managing non-profits and advancing youth education and women entrepreneurship. Maureen Nirere is placed at Young Entrepreneurs Academy in Rochester, NY, where she will help lead communication efforts for their entrepreneurship education offerings with a focus on girls and women. Upon returning to Rwanda, Maureen Nirere plans to equip more women and girls in her community with entrepreneurship and vocational skills, and continue to pursue scholarship opportunities for vulnerable and at-risk children.
