As a News Editor and Assistant Head of Programs for Radio Progress, Okyere Mavis has over eight years of experience in development journalism and community relations in deprived communities in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Okyere Mavis is placed at Voice of America in Washington, DC, where he intends to explore his work as a journalist and write stories on Ghana. Upon returning to Ghana, Okyere Mavis plans to use media as a tool to engage communities to work towards attaining open defecation free status.
