As a CEO for OuroX and the current development of the Suriname Securities Exchange (Go Live is planned for Q1 2020), Maya Parbhoe has experience in the development of Capital Markets and Securities Exchanges in the Caribbean and Latin America. During the fellowship, Maya aims to learn about how operations in US exchanges are conducted, especially the CME for commodities and Nasdaq for securities. Upon returning to Suriname, Maya plans to develop the securities exchange and to establish transparency in the private sector and financial sector by developing the capital market. She then plans to scale the business to Brazil and Argentina within the next 6 months.
